Research and Engagement Coordinator
In 2018, Andrew completed a Master of Arts in Human Geography from York University and has experience working with grassroots Indigenous organizations in both Canada and Southeast Asia. Andrew is driven by a passion for social justice and working with Indigenous communities to protect ancestral territories, promote peaceful coexistence between Indigenous Nations and newcomer societies, and build more regenerative and sustainable community economies.
Andrew currently works as Research and Engagement Coordinator with the IISAAK OLAM Foundation. With excellent research, writing, and mentoring skills, Andrew is a strong team player in IISAAK OLAM’s efforts to support Indigenous-led conservation, reconciliation, and community development initiatives across Canada. Andrew also holds a certificate in permaculture design and has long been a student of holistic management and ecosystem-based conservation planning principles.
