Join First Nations Species at Risk Dialogues on March 23 & 25!

The IISAAK OLAM Foundation and the Assembly of First Nations (AFN) are inviting First Nations community members who have experience with––or an interest in––monitoring, harvesting, and management of Species at Risk (SAR) to join a discussion about First Nations approaches to protection and conservation.

Two identical sessions will be hosted on Tuesday March 23rd and Thursday, March 25th to accommodate varying availability.

The IISAAK OLAM Foundation and the Assembly of First Nations (AFN) are inviting First Nations community members who have experience with––or an interest in––monitoring, harvesting, and management of Species at Risk (SAR) to join a discussion about First Nations approaches to protection and conservation.

Two identical sessions will be hosted on Tuesday March 23rd and Thursday, March 25th to accommodate varying availability. French translation will be offered for the March 23rd session.

The sessions will be facilitated by the IISAAK OLAM Foundation with graphic recording by Kelly Poirier of White Raven Consulting.

Harvesters, Elders and knowledge keepers, Indigenous Guardians, community stewards, SAR technicians or ecologists, youth, and any First Nations persons with SAR experience or interest are welcome to join!

The sessions are free and will be hosted virtually on Zoom.

Sessions are intended for First Nations people and organizations.
