Indigenous Climate ACtion program

Module 3
The Air we Breathe

In this module, we explore the question, “How is air a part of our home?” And how is it linked to trees? How do we learn about something we cannot see?

Through teachings from Joe Martin, a master carver, of Tla-o-qui-aht First Nation, we learn about the sacredness of trees and how they are an integral part of his culture. Joe invites us to practice listening to and learning from Mother Earth so that we consider how to focus on and provide for our needs (and not our greed).
