Anaïs Brusel

Cross-Cultural Relations Coordinator

Anaïs Brusel is an aspiring leader and entrepreneur in Transpersonal Psychology, dedicated to inner healing and community development. Hailing from Northern France, she embodies her homeland’s communal and generous spirit. With natural teaching skills, she finds joy in sharing knowledge and empowering others. Growing up in a farming family, Anaïs has fostered a spiritual bond with the environment.
She holds a Master of Arts in Development Studies and Diplomacy from the University for Peace (UPeace) in Costa Rica, where she developed diplomatic and communication skills. Engaged in the international branch of the IISAAK OLAM Foundation, Anaïs focuses on fostering cross-cultural exchange between Canada and Costa Rica, with a particular emphasis on the social innovations of Indigenous Protected and Conserved Areas (IPCAs) and Program for Environmental Services (PES).
Guided by the collaborative spirit of the 2018 ICE Report, she wrote a Master’s thesis on experience sharing between both countries, looking at Indigenous Peoples’ leadership on biocultural conservation across Canada, to facilitate community learning exchange. Her commitment to reconciliation, environmental justice, and biocultural conservation drives her efforts to bridge gaps between knowledge systems and transpersonal healing.
